The Sanctuary is a well-being centre dedicated to providing a safe, judgement free and confidential space for men, women, young people and children from all backgrounds to receive the right type of support needed to function optimally and lead productive lives. The Sanctuary currently offers in-house counselling, support groups, yoga sessions and provides social and emotional learning training in schools. We also offer a weekday 24-hour mental health telephone support hotline.

The Sanctuary has in-house professional psychologists that offer individual, group and family therapy for adolescents and adults, who may present with:
- Anxiety or fear related disorders
- Mood disorders (eg. depression)
- Couples therapy
- Stress management
- Addiction management
- Trauma support
- Other mental health challenges
We offer customized psycho-educational workshops for schools and corporate bodies on topics like:
- Mental health first aid
- Stress management
- Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
- Drugs and alcohol addiction
- Workplace burnout
- Conflict resolution
- Goal setting and problem solving
- Assertiveness training
meditation & yoga
The art of yoga involves engaging the body, physically and mentally with the aim of self regulation (relaxation and meditation), increasing consciousness of the body, as well as controlling the body and mind.
Yoga would be of benefit to those who are:
- Experiencing symptoms of stress and anxiety
- Interested in relaxation techniques and mindfulness
- Interested in improving their physical health through low impact exercise
- Trying to improve how their body looks and feels
- Interested in yoga’s widespread benefits, i.e. lowering BP, cholesterol & blood sugar
- Affected or hindered by joint pain or injury
the mind clinic
The Mind Clinic is a radio programme focused on mental health and hosted on Silverbird Rhythm 94.7FM Abuja. It allowed Nigerians to listen in, call and speak about issues, directly and indirectly, relating to their mental health. With Hosts and guest speakers driving the conversations, each programme of the Mind Clinic was captivating, informative and educative.
